Mmmm, long dark evenings and a feather filled duvet.

I know what I'd like to be doing on a crisp clear winter morning though - be out horse riding. Frozen fields and woods, everything sparkling with frost and nobody else around... and a really good pair of gloves and thick socks.

Kinda need a horse for that though.

It's really nice doing that

I helped look after someone's pony when I was a kid and really enjoyed early morning trips out

I was rubbish at horse riding though - kept falling off

Cut down on riding, but still have a short ride at least once every month to keep the battery topped up, fuel fresh, etc. Finding it hard to get up in the mornings now, wish I could hibernate.

December already so chirtsmas and new year fill some time then its two quick months* and virtually spring again

*although I'm not sure so were going to have much clear forsty lovely winter days this year tho, seems a bit warm.
