2006 Good Year Bad Year?? - Page 4 - SV650.org

I think for new starts, 2005 was a better year than 06 as i got a new job/car and bike all in 1 year.

However this year

bought my first house

completed training and now on the job

done loads of miles on sv

grreeeat summer

social life has suffered as result of job and cost of living

just refuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse to accept its nearly 2007 cannot believe it really can't !! time is ticking on so quick it scares me!!!!!!!!!

happ and contented, miss my family up north, but found my place to be down here

no five bells new years eve viney pleeeeeeeeeeeease

was that really a year ago oh my god !!!!!

Girl of my dream moved down south to be with me

To date, got through this year without any major incident or trauma (Touches wood)

Didnt get one job that i applied for

Didnt win 120Mill on the euro millions

2007
Move in with girl of my dreams
Win millions on the lottery
Get new bike
Live happily ever after

Mine's been pretty undistinguished... Though the absense of any serious injuries makes it better than 2005

I've had a lot of fun this year, but there's not an awful lot I can point at and call an achievement. Well, it's possible I've done even less work than last year...

2006's just drifted by for me, it must be old age.

Well considering I sat at new years eve with a whiskey moaning that this year was going to be terrible, it's been ace.

Made Redundant

got lots of dosh for it

Found the perfect job

Get all the school holidays off to go biking and sailing

My bloke has been ace and put up with all my moaning

Roll on 2007 - I'm sure it's going to be even better.
(unless I lost my boat down the River Avon this weekend, must check it tonight)

Wife diagnosed with cancer

Grand Mother died of cancer

Failed First bike test.

First Child Born healthy

Wife told she's in Remission

passed second bike test.

got promoted at work.

A bit of a roller coaster year for me really - am hoping 2007 will be very boring by comparison.

Possibly the worst so far

Hit thirty!

Mate diagnosed with breast cancer.

Bought my SV!

Back injury returned

got over paid - now they want it back

Mum died in Sept

Didn't get out (due to above)

Got promotion

Still got flat

Bought my SV

Still got Garry

No falls/injurys on bike

Found SV650

Got some Gr8 friends.

Glorious weather

got sunburnt at Knockhill - twice!

Easter Egg run!

Best Mate got married

On the whole looks like it should have been a good year but was close to mum and I was on holiday when she went

2007 ambitions -
get sv fixed and out
AR07
get dad out on my honda!
