We could get enough to book a private day at Knockhill. But that has drawbacks of its own... The weather, the poor facilities... Oh yes, and the fact that it's a million miles from anywhere

Personally I'd like to do it, but realistically it means vanning down- I wouldn't enjoy a trackday if I was hundreds of miles from home with no way to get back if I bend it. I've done them when I was riding well within the margins and while it's safe, and therefore sensible, I just didn't enjoy it. So I'd be quite unlikely to make it, though I'd love to.

Also, everyone would see how **** I am, and laugh at me.

Do you reckon you could get PB to sponsor it???

How cool would that be .... a PB spread on SVs swarming on mass at a trackday ...

Cadders is a long way away (I live on the south coast), but I am prepared to travel.

However my preference would be Rockingham, its a good track suited to the SV, fairly central, but not a million miles from me ... My closest tracks are Brands and Silverstone, so also put a vote in for them ...

Lydden worked well last year too ... its great for spectators also

Northy, Knockhill is just too far ... if we did Cadders, I'd be up for making a mini break of it ... i.e. travel u[p the day before, stay that night, do the trackday ... stay that night and travel back the next day ... its a bit more social and breaks up the long long journy

I think we need to know the distribution of interested parties location to estimate what is the most .org central ... if we find it is just southern woofters then Brands or Lydden would make sense ... if it is all norvern-gets then oulton, cadders make more sense ...

Personally I don't like Mallory or Donnington ... also donnington trackdays are rare and expensive too ...

Silverstone is great for me, and an interesting track, but if we get a lot of northerners involved, not really central enough .. Rockingham is further north so might be a better compromise if there is an even spread and is a good little track ...
