Have you seen the way we are playing lately? Australia were comprehensively beaten. South Africa too.

Based on the autumn internationals, I rate the Irish to take the six nations...BUT France are certainly a dark horse to be aware of. They've not played too many games recently but the team is young and the french clubs have been putting in good performances recently.
As far as Johnny W is concerned, he is going to be very very very well marked by the Scottish this saturday.
I dont think the Welsh have a chance against the Irish based on there recent performances.

Wales have picked a strong pack/front row as the Irish are a bit weak in that dept.

IMHO, the game will be won/lost in the lineout.

Even so...the irish have been quicker from the back and the welsh defence has been diabolical to say the least.


(Dont get me wrong...I have welsh blood running through these veins but we have to be honest with ourselves)

I'll have to go for England. They'll come good.

Traditionally I would agree with you. Lineouts are completely central.
The thing about this Irish team... they are like the old Aussie teams... they are very very fit, relentless, and they are unbelievably calm. They will play solid organized rugby to a plan, and not panic, or deviate away from that plan. They just have tons of experience.

I feel the All Backs (and the French, and even Wales sometimes) are very dangerous to play, because on the day they can pull off ridiculously cool stuff. They are brilliant, but emotional.
But this Ireland, (and the last England team, and the older Aussies teams Campo et al) just play relentlessly controlling dominating rugby. Terminator style stuff. They have enough flair to back it up, but mainly, its about control.

We will see.
