yup........... they are iligal ........but so is my 5x7 which IMO will be ok as its not silly small. might not get away with a 9x3 though, i think as long as you dont take the pee you will be ok.

?

Thats the snag. My 7x5 has the stripe down the side and
Ive wide letters too like a wubbleu so the letters themselves are quite small.

However Im not too bothered as its on a BMW and everyone knows they can only be stopped on Royal Warrant, or at least that's what my uncle the Chief Constable told me at the Lodge.

Ive got 7x5 1/2 but the font is standard size so have just removed the borders. I would have to be very unfortunate to face a penalty with it

From what I've heard - one liners are most likely to get you pulled. Easiest to see they are illegal as you don't even need to get your ruller out.

i agree & once you have been stoped for your plate.... the nice policeman notices your can is "not for road use" & those indecaters look a bit small & there flashing too fast .......wheres your numberplate light & reflector........that tyre looks a bit bald aswell sunny

can doesn't need any markings these days, indicators can blink upto 120 per minute,don't need a number plate light (in daylight) although you do need a reflector.

my point was, once you get stoped for the dodgy plate, your bike may be futher examined for other things
