Damn....Birdstrike

I hit a pheasant a few years ago in a Metro. When I got to work I checked the damage and couldn't believe waht I saw - completely trashed Bonnet, front wing, radiator grill, valance - the works - and the bird fluttered away over the fence !

In all the years I've been driving (about 14) I have hit a bird once I can think of ( a seagull they really are thick and dont get out the way) since getting the bike (yesterday) it seems the bird population of east lothian are out to get me!

Hit a pigeon last year with my left arm ar 30ish. When it hit my arm it decided to empty its puddins all over me, myb new leathers and shiny new SV. Fecking pidgeons.

I'm loving mine (even went for a play in the rain yesterday)

Haven't hit any thing on the road. But i was doing about 80 knots [~90mph] in a race boat and hit a seagull. I think it went under and got chewed up by the props. bloody good job to.
