Ok...lets see...
The votes couldn't be counted.
So many votes were scrap.

Not a good advertisement for Scotland. And now a parliament that has no majority.

Oh Joy.

David Mcletchie... My constitiuency, Edinburgh Pentlands, has always been a tory heartland. This time he rubbed our noses in it by sending us a load of campaigning stuff with no postage paid, so we paid £1.50 to get it delivered

Beaniebike, I did say probably However, I'm actually totally changing my mind on the whole "too stupid to vote" thing, since it's becoming pretty clear that the most invalid papers were cast in lower income areas... That's not good. Tommy Sheridan might just have it right, he reckons that spoiled papers have probably cost the socialist parties some seats. Most of the other parties are happy to split the difference, and that's probably fair enough.

oh isnt scotland sh1te? cant even get folk folk to put a x or a 1 2 3 in the write box , well i'd rather people bothered to turn up and make an honest ar£e of it or put in a spoiled paper as some sort of a protest than be someone that doesnt even bother voting yet think they have a right to comment on everything that happens in this country.

Since Alex Salmond won his seat for the Scottish Parliament and is a MSP he is also a MP in the UK Parliament. Now will he give up his seat in the UK and call a byelection in his Parlimentary constituancy.Don't think he can do 2 Jobs at the same time, also he would get paid a MSP salary and a MP's salary if that is the case he 's getting megabucks.

Alex Salmon said he will leave westminster if he got elected. He will now maybe be First Minister so probably to busy to go south. If he can create a coalition which is not that obvious.
