Fortunately one of the advantages of being mixed race is being able to be picked to play for two national football teams instead of one, unfortunately I have only england and scotland too choose from , why couldnt me dad be brazillian or something ?

being only allowed to be picked for one has its advantages, at Least the press cant Big you up for your first game then shoot you down in flames when it all goes wrong. I was never good enough to play Football but prefer egg chasing anyway

You can't 'take' a job from anyone. Why should anyone be entitled to more money for less work? It's a foolish protectionist position.

I'm with Squirrel on this one. we have a large Polish community here in Selby. Alot of them work in the Greenacres factory, it stinks, but they do it.

Why? Well because the fault of the system in this country is its easier, and more benificial financially, to stay on the rock and roll rather than work for a minimum wage. This breeds a culture of 'can't be arsed', I know I've experienced it first hand. I used to run a pub and people would come for an interview and state right from the off they had no intention of getting the job but if they don't attend so many interviews they would lose their benefits....

Now not everyone is like this, but on a Saturday afternoon what language are most of the winos, beggars and crackheads in your town speaking....I bet it isnt Polish.....

If there were no jobs and no demand, alot of them wouldn't come here.

Just my tuppence of course.....

We have a lot of polish drivers in transport now, they come up to our depot in skem looking a bit sheepish sometimes, as if they feel they are not welcome, tbh most are decent blokes who just want to earn a crust AND they are on the same rate of pay as me, you can see an almost sense of relief on there faces when you tell em there,s a brew machine in there 'do you want one' Saying that a lot of firms are knocking back polish drivers cos of the amount of accidents occurring, late deliveries, communication problems etc..

I think you misunderstand what I meant (not surprising as I wasn't very clear).
