I've had plenty of experience of riding in a group and would be happy to meet up with folk in the Midlands area for an informal rideout.
Couldnt agree more Pete - I was one of the newbies at Invasion (first rideout, passed 6 weeks before) and I think I learnt more on that day following people, and chatting to them than I have since I passed.

Mind you, it does put you in your place when you are riding at what you think is a spirited pace, and pete passes you, like you are stood still, and 2up to boot!!!

Definitely one I'm interested in, in the South Yorkshire area if anyone is around these parts. All the people I hang around with normally don't ride sportsbikes, so I'm interested from both "capable group rider" and "numpty on sportsbike" fronts.

Great idea Jelster. I'd be very interested in a newbie rideout. Riding since March 07, but only managed bout 1000 miles due to working away. I'm in Lancashire.

Just seen this one meself Done bit of group riding, well a few. It was the best way i found to improve my riding. I would be more than happy to play at the backas TEC. Riding on the N.Wales Rideout at the back when i was, was fun and got to sit back and relax. And learnt a bit about defensive riding.

I know there is a thread in East Anglian Revolution trying to sort a ride, if we could combine summit up into a bigger group maybe. Not a hoon but a nice steady pace, or even drop into groups. Want one more really before the season is out and have to start concentrating on careful winter riding.

Been riding since November last year covered 12k mind

Talking Re: New Bikers Rideout ??

I would really be interested just seen the post......

I started riding this year, got my cbt in May covered 2000 miles on the 125, just done another 600 on my SV before it goes in for it first service. I passed the test at the end of August this year.

Oh I got myself booked on a bike safe next month going from the ace cafe hopefully pick up some riding tips from the day

I live in North West London, but my folks live a bit further out so if we were gonna meet further out they I could crash there for the night.

Any way I got an SV650 Sport K6 Blue, and I have spent all money on my bike and gear so I'm now offically broke was going to go hoilday, that will have to be next year unless I do money hours of over time, the though of that though

Let me know if you guys do it, I will be there!
