ZX9 would be great for you IMHO

Suzuki B-King. Yes I know that is of no help what-so-ever but I still think it's a bike that would suit you.

Don't buy earlier than a 'C' model, (earlier ones have USD forks), the later bikes - '98 on, are tons better.

I think I sat on one of these before I got the SV and couldn't believe how big it felt. Comfy too.

Alternatively for £1999 I've got a nice Transalp for sale! Needs a rear wheel, seat cover, M.O.T...... It does come with panniers and engine bars though!

I think a nice green zx9 would suit you down to the ground mate and it would be nice to have another kwak in the ranks too.

Bear - I think the 9 may cramp you in more than the SV, cant explain it, may give you back probs been a sports bike, maybe wrong. Best thing to do would be get an idea of a few and go to the show next month Can sit on as many as you like then.
