Sadly chaps I don't do call outs, but if I did, they'd probably be the best call outs in the world!!

Hovis, you're best bet for O/E Honda bearings is David Silver spares. They specialise in genuine Honda parts, but are somewhat cheaper than your local dealer.

You will need.

91015-KT8-005 top bearing.
91016-KT8-005 bottom bearing.
53214-371-010 bottom seal.

You can re use the top seal, but are most likely to stuff the bottom one removing the inner race from the stem.

David Silver are on; 01728 833020. Double check those part numbers with David Silver, as my memory aint what it used to be, 'cause I ate a lot of beef in the eighties

If you have any hassles putting them in, give me a shout.

Cheers.

Morning all.

NAY NAY & THRICE NAY am I traveling to Cardiff! I have enough trouble understanding the Northern Monkeys up here. Let alone trying to decipher people who talk like they have a heavy cold!

Hovis, it's highly unlikely that adjustment will cure your steering issue, tightening the adjuster nuts will most likely make it worse. A notch is a notch!

Cheers.

Howdy,
I've just bought an '88 FJ1200 to keep me warm and comfy through the winter (and to stop my SV from being gritted).
Now the thing is it drops into corners so much you have to push the left bar hard on a left hander, and visa versa, to prevent it falling over altogether. It's got nearly new tyres set to the correct pressures. Does this sound like head bearings or is it just the way seven hundred kilo bikes handle?
Thanks,
Ewan
