What a positon to be put in LouLou - I am sure your memories of the accident are still quite raw and the fact that your confidence has taken a beating doesn't help. As others have said, if the course helps the individuals to become more aware, especially their hazard perception and perhaps make them a more patient driver, then it is the way to go - I think speaking to the police could be a good idea, especially if they are frank and not just spinning you a yarn. Whatever you decide you must state how you are feeling at the moment, mention too that because of the confidence beating you received and to move on, you too could do with some tuition - Perhaps attend the same course (not the same day or anything!) on your bike!!! Let us know what you decide.
