That sounds like a big pile of fun John. What's an iron? Is it one of those heavy things one uses to prop open a door?

Didn't need the waterproofs in the end. It's now a gloriously warm and sunny spring day. Just been sat outside with a cuppa and a toastie, watching the pond skater and a waterboatman sculling about in my pond.

Ironing done. Just back from the Honda dealer. My centre stand is not in the faulty batch.

That's good. Do you know what the issue is with those in the faulty batch?

It relates to the welding on a lug that the spring connects to. If it fails the stand could fall while riding.

Morning all. Weather looks to be good today. I'm pleased about that as I'm leading a walk from Mitchells Fold to Bromlow Callow and back. It's all quite high and exposed so not very nice in poor weather.

How is the day looking for everyone else?

Jealous. My day consists of work but I will be enjoying the fact the car is being charged from solar on this fine day.

Off out for a walk shortly myself, just locally, then a spin on the bike.

Mitchells Fold is on of the spookiest places I've ever visited, around the stone circle there's a definite 'presence'.

Lovely terrain around the Fold. Some of the ancient stones are a short walk away and well worth the views you get when searching them out. Know what you mean about the vibes - it's a magical place for sure.

Morning all. Cracking walk yesterday and the weather really picked up once we started. That northerly wind was still cold though.

Off to do a spot of gardening for someone this morning, hoping for dry weather!

That Northerly was cold, wasn't it? Luckily, over the weekend I scored a great charity shop find: a lightweight quilted down jacket with no hood, which is light and thin enough to wear as a mid-layer under my biking jacket. Just £6, in perfect condition.

Tested it with a run to the Ponderosa and with my heated vest on I was actually a bit too warm, even with that cold wind and a 70mph windchill.
