Mine's fine like that. I think I used a bit of insulation tape to keep it in right place.

Has anyone had an issue with the clutch after fitting flatter bars? The lever touches the bar way sooner than it did on the stock set so much it doesn't even let me start the bike with the clutch pulled in as it hasn't made the connected switch. The cales are all a bit allover the place depending on which lock you've got on now too. Turn it to the right there's next to no clutch turn it to the left it's tight and lumpy. Bloody cables.

Sorry dude you're on your own there, you will just have to play with them until they work right.

Just bypass the clutch switch though it does f##k all.

Not true YC, sometimes it randomly fails and strands people. Other times, the connector comes off in crashes and strands people. And sometimes, especially with cheaper levers, it all gets a bit loose and stops engaging and strands people

(I kind of miss mine, with my cheap rubbish pattern levers there was a real trick to starting it... Nobody in my dealership or the tuner I use could start it, I could always do it, made me feel like Biff Tannen.

Heh, quite cool, but usually it just manages to leave you stranded somewhere either rough or freezing.

Fair enough I think it Might be half lever positioning and half the cables. The clutch cable has like a curved metal tube coming from the lever end to push the cable in the right direction but ith low bars it gets in the way. Meh, I'll have a play tonight.

I've shoved a paperclip in it for now...will carry one round with me.

No, solder them. It will be a PITA for everyone on rideout if you are faffing about trying to find a paperclip!
