That's a hard one. All my cameras are so different. I think it would have to be the A1.

Looking through SLR viewfinder: OMG this shot is going to be amazing, the tones, the bokeh (hello open aperture metering), the sudden clearing of the microprisms as you get it in focus. Shoot - CLUNK, and other convincing camera noises, world goes black, imagination takes over what you actually took a picture of.
Reality: 1 shot from a roll is a keeper

Looking through rangefinder VF: yes, there it is, not sure it looked like that to the naked eye, let me try moving around a bit. Okay, little patch is less foggy. Shoot - very quiet click, cue anticlimax and wondering if another go is worth it, something akin to cognitive dissonance that a picture has been taken as your eyes were open the whole time

Going to have to rethink on what to take away with me. I went to collect 3 test films from 3 different cameras today and they weren't done; the machine had broken. I'm not going to chance it with an untested camera so it might have to be the Minolta X700.
Meanwhile, I do like the EVF in the OMD EM10. Rather than add a b&w filter to a colour jpeg, set the picture to monotone and you see in black and white through the viewfinder. I like that.

Tease. It's good, but a lot of people seem disappointed that there wasn't "more". Hoping the price comes down. On the "I'm cutting down on cameras" front, I won a Lomography Spinner 360. Been after one for ages.

Not yet. But then I've hardly had time. I've been doing double shifts at work to cover leave etc. I thought I'd retired 🙄.

Well, the nice people at Durham Tees Valley airport hand checked all my films for me so they've arrived in China without being X rayed at all.
Raining.

So you are gone now then? A workmate pointed this out at his local village auction but as I was working I was unable to attend. His Dad went and bid for me, got it for a tenner!

The shutter fires properly. Got a junker X700 if you need any spares Yoko?
