Re: The All New Megathread
Last time I used an under-seat hook for a lid was back in my student days on my GSX250. It was a right faff to get the seat back on as I recall. At least one bike after that had a locking loop on the frame but getting to the keyhole with the lid on there was also a real faff.
I'll stick to my topbox.

Re: The All New Megathread
On my SV's I used to keep one of those cheap cycle cable locks under the rear seat. I could lock my helmet to the grab handle through the visor aperture.

Re: The All New Megathread
Morning all, a glorious day here. Quite a bit to get done in the garden today, but weather permitting we're heading out on the bike tomorrow.
I never fancied leaving my crash helmet with my bike. I always felt it would be too easy for it to be stolen or vandalised. |

Re: The All New Megathread
Speaking of rides, I discovered a new (to me) route to Bala, from Oswestry down the A483, turning off at the Llynclys crossroads then via Pen-y-bont, Pentrefelin, Penybontfawr and Llangynog over the top and down. Route here.
I'm sure Orgers in the area will be familiar with it, but it's 30 miles of absolute biking heaven. Stunning scenery that changes constantly and beautiful flowing roads, perfect for 65 / 70mph riding (with the occasional nadgery bit and the odd stray sheep!). |

It's a belting route Craig, surprised you've not found that before.

Re: The All New Megathread
Morning all. Grey and dull here. No riding today, heading over to Oswestry to give my partner some help as she's had a recurrence of an ongoing back problem and is in some pain.
How's the week ahead looking for everyone else? |
