If you ever get the urge to fix a camera, take a breath first then decide. Tried to look at RF on Kiev 4 and all I managed to do is break one of the windows.

Anyone know where I can get some Agfa Rapid cassettes from apart from eBay? Got a Penti i half frame coming and it Rapid rather than 35mm.

Hmm if it's general snapping then I'd go for the simplicity of a fixed-lens 35mm.

Been busy lately, I have had to deal with my dad's affairs, but I'm getting there. We have a mountain of crap in the house to sell, to the point where it's getting in the way. Moved the rabbit hutch and a leg came off, need to repair 8 years of widdle damage. That sort of thing, been endless the last few weeks. Not shot a frame for a while. I'd like to fix up the Contessamatic but I failed last time I tangled with the meter. Can't remember the details but I think the selenium cell needs desoldering, unless I can figure out something else to swap it - I have a Contessa LK for spares. I think the shutter is fine, just needs a bit of a clean.
