Is that atomizer gun you've got good Chris? I spend way too long putting on ACF50 with a cloth.

High volume low pressure paint gun, 1.5mm nozzle. Does a superb job, spraying straight from bottle, no warming up etc

Regulated side of compressor set to 25psi, could get away with lower

Chris, Thank you for the enlightenment.
I bought a bottle of ACF50 with the intention of giving the bike a good spray.
But gave up when the spray bottle it came with was a load of shizz. I have halfheartedly wiped a couple of things with a cloth.

But I had completely overlooked my compressor and the spray gun that came with it!
Now I just need to get around to cleaning the caked on layer of **** off so I can give it a go.

No problem, what type of spray gun came with compressor? Usually bundles contain a paraffin gun

It comes with a 1.7mm spare nozzle which might be better with ACF50 as it's quite viscous.

And funnily enough one of the reviews,

Tip: Put the bottle of ACF50 in a bowl of hot water before use. The warmer the liquid being used the better the Atomization and flow.

I've seen adverts for winter prepping bikes with ACF 50 (presumably wash and spray) for £110, with plenty of recommendations from our advanced group, maybe you are missing a trick here?

Humps - The ones on the back of your jacket.

My jacket that I've had about 2 years has a hump - RST Pro something blah blah textile thing.
However the zip died on Monday, resulting in a bodge with two key ring loops to keep the bottom together as the end of the zip came clean off. Anyhow I digress.

I rode in yesterday using the same bodge, mentioning it to my brother in law, and he offered to sell me his Wolf leather jacket that is barely used for £100.00. As it was at work he said to give it a try so I rode home and back in this morning. Firstly he has monkey arms and as the jacket had been made for him, the arms are too long for me. And secondly his Wolf jacket doesn't have a hump.

Now I never really knew what the hump did until yesterday, but bloody hell the difference in a jacket with a hump and without under similar conditions is insane.

For those like me that have/had no idea.

Hump - decreases helmet buffeting - yeah I know you are saying ********. How can a thing on your back help helmet buffeting. But it does.
No Hump - when you engage the warp engine and the time space continuum is wrapping itself around your bike ready for ludicrous speed. It is like the Hulk is beating your head from side to side and blurring your vision. And god help you if you glance to the side to see where he is.

So obviously purely in the name of science and to set a good baseline (honest officer) I repeated this scenario numerous times on my way home to compare the results. I gave up on the experiment this morning when the rear wheel broke traction and thought better of it.

I can conclude that as long as I have a bike capable of ludicrous speed then I don't want a jacket without a hump.

So I just bought one of these instead.
