i think that was a different camp site
Yep that was one of the other sites considerd.... I still think the fact this one is next to the pub outweighs the kitchen ! Pub ?kitchen ?pub ?kitchen? pub?...Yes defo the Pub wins !!

I was camping in Devon with mates at the weekend. The essentials are:
Tent
Sleeping bag
PILLOW
Torch
Bottle opener (& beer to open)
Underwear (I forgot )
Camping mat (I also forgot this, but didn't really need it)
Mug for tea/coffee/hot chocolate
Knife (& maybe fork)

Did I say pillow? This is essential, otherwise you'll end up rolling up a pile of t-shirts and using those, which ain't comfortable. I had a small square pillow, but you might be able to find an inflatable one).

serious now -

I am as said befor eon the bike but kims in the car- we are local ish-

so I am planning on bringing.. some

3 or 4 spare pillows..
a couple of spare sleep bags as kim will no doubt bring the duvet ! but mefinks it will be hot enuff sleep just in yer pants !!

and a few other bits- like blow up bed for one already bagged it..

so- serious- I will have a trade off for stuff..!!

it will be there so maybe if anyone wants a pillow or forget their sleep bag or anything - then we have some spare..

I should have borrowed my neighbours and my mates tents then u cudda not had to haul a tent all the way up here too..

next year eh- (someone local can do that for me)
