Re: Donnington - 24-25-26 July
To be honest I've been the last four years and not got there til 9:00ish and not had a problem. We've just filtered through the cars for a couple of miles on the way in to the carpark, parked up on the tarmac behind Redgate, straight in and no problems. It was busier last year but still not ridiculous. I tend to not bother trying to 'book a spot' and I've never had a problem viewing the race from where I want to.

Fizz, if me and maria do go, we're leaving at 6 am. The journey should take around 2 hours...this should just about be enough, although when I've been to brands hatch for WSBK, I've always got there for 7am

Re: Donnington - 24-25-26 July
We normally go in the car so we dont have the option of filtering
We were at the Esses one year and one guy only just got into the circuit in time for the Moto GP race, he had been sat in traffic for 3 hrs I think he said. I think its worse if you try and get into the bottom end of the circuit i.e the carpark closest to the Foggy Esses / Melbourne loop

Re: Donnington - 24-25-26 July
It does depend which you way you are coming from. I'm relatively lucky coming along the A50 from Stoke direction as bikes are directed to turn off someway before the circuit and it's a one way route down back roads through Melbourne. It's then the first entrance to the back of Redgate and the reverse leaving. Means there is little filtering/queuing with cars going to other entrances etc. Not sure what it is like for peeps coming from the east and M1.

Any idea what time qualifying will be? I may just go for tomorrow as I can't ride Sunday I'll be hung over.
