Re: Travel to Hovis' Funeral
Yes we saw the signs and followed them round that fairly sharp roundabout, but then lost the trail. Not the easiest of places to find your way round.

Re: Travel to Hovis' Funeral
it was a mad sharp switchback at that junction near the crem.. off the roundabout up the hill slight left to the lights and then like you in the alps turn back on self at a stupid dangerous junction and on to the crem.. not easy ..

I usually hate riding on busy dual carriageways and on motorways but it wasn't a problem yesterday. Just goes to show, all these mental blocks really are self-imposed. I won't be scared of a motorway again, not after the M4 yesterday morning. |

Re: Travel to Hovis' Funeral
To be honest I had my Satnav and Autocom with me but was glad that Quiff stepped up and offered to do leading duties . As I was following him I kept giggling to myself as he was pointing things out to Mandy and I kept looking at his "Lobster Claw" gloves and doing Dr Zoidberg impressions to myself whenever I saw them .

Re: Travel to Hovis' Funeral
How are we sposed to find places that aren't signed... Daryl and I were almost in Aberfan, at the fuel station just outside in fact, as by that time I was running on air as I had last filled up in Shrewsbury. It took 15.5 litres. I said to D - 'I'm pi55ed off' - and he replied 'so am I, let's go home'. Amongst other things, we discovered that the Asda at J32 serves excellent fish and chips, and that the ketchup is both free and plentiful.
