I believe they are transferable between bikes, all you'd need to do is swap the fuel maps, but I'm not 100% certain. read more here

Oh and as for the revs thing I can leave my 750 in 6th and it pull from about 40mph If I want a relaxed ride I tend to scot through the gears till I'm doing 55 - 60mph and then just leave it in 6th and its really relaxed and lazy then. It revs at about 5 - 6000 rpm nice and relaxed but power is on tap if I want it. Yes the twin is lazy but if you get the right IL4 its just as lazy to. Its another misconception about IL4's IMHO.

Maybe i should try a Gixxer 750? hmmm.

Right ive chacked Ebike.com.

For these modifications:-
Ehaust
Air filter
Power commander
Brakes
Forks

£850 with £300 excess. Fully comp.

Not very very cheap... But not particularly bad, cost £750 this year.

So im willing to shell out for this.
What you think?

How old are you ?

I'm 34, I have 3 points, 1 non fault accident, for my GSXR and my SV : £498 Fullly Comp on a Ebike multi bike policy.

my advice, dont try the GSXR unless you have money to buy as you wont want to go back IMHO.

That sounds an awful lot of money to insure you SV with those mods. Again for the extra say 10bhp you'll get is it worth it ? I'd say do the suspension on its own and see how much that costs, you will get alot of benefit by donig that.

Im 21

3 Yr NCB 0 pts (atm)

1 accident none fault.

I could afford a Gixxer 750 i think, arnt they on 0%?

Im just going through no PC on. See what difference it makes.

I might try a 600 then. Just to see.... £1420 with £200 excess LMAO.

Without power commander Insurance is £774 with 200 excess.

Gess this means ill stick to the SV

1 question. Ive put my licence down as Full motorcycle (A), is this right, ive done 2 years probation and now im on full power (obviously). I havnt sent off my licence to get the <25KW thing taken off, as my friend phoned to ask if we needed to, and they said we dont. So what im trying to say is, is it just full motorcycle or full motorcycle (A). Anyone knows then please enlighten me!

OK next question, how long have you been riding how much experience do you have. How long have you had your SV for.

Get an exhaust & performance filter, remove the snorkel fromt he air box. Then get Gixxer front end and fit those to make brakes and suspension better! You can do it yourself, here is a link to a page which has an excellent guide!

the entire page is GREAT!
