Family driving each other bonkers on xmas day, yet still get invited round year after year..

No girlfriend to spend time with instead of lunatic family

Turkey. euchhh.

Crap music on the radio

Going out for a blast on the bike on xmas day, I don't care what anyone says, I'm going

Good food and drink with my mates

Don't particularly like christmas. Neither does my wallet. I buy people presents all year because that's the kinda guy I am, and I'm not religious, but I won't bemoan other people their fun, or the time off..

Me too - usually do too.

Jan 2nd - best day of year, as far away from xmas and new year as you can get.

She's gonna be chuffed!

*No, I've not got her a new boyfriend!*

Pete and I don't make a big deal about Xmas. No decorations or tree (which the cats would destroy in 30 seconds flat anyway), no turkey because we don't particularly like it, and no getting p*ssed as neither of us drink

Pete only gets Xmas day and Boxing day off anyway, so we'll chill out on Xmas day, and go out somewhere on the bike on Boxing day.

Pete's family all live miles away, and my family are either a fair distance away or have their own family now, which frees us from feeling obliged to either invite them here( and that would be fun, our house isn't child friendly) or go to them.
This sounds ideal exactley how i would like my christmas to be.

Well that probably rules out any further response from me (or Hovis)

Hope you and Kate have a good one Phil

Xmas is **** full stop. I hate it, over commercial cr*p . Idiots spend a fortune on gifts they cant afford and then spend the rest of the year paying it off and complaining about it.

If i did not havea 8yr old i would not be putting anyhting up or celebrating it, infact i would be going to a country where they dont celerbrate it
