After a brief chat about this its been decided that its better to just sticky any future Charity Rides threads in the Rideouts Section as well as here in IB so it gets seen by more people.

Just seen this. Poor wee soul. Glad that so many of you were able to make his wish come true. I really feel for his mum and dad, I can't imagine what they must be going through.

Update

Like many of the SV650.org lot I, myself wasn't able to make it to see Jack but a few of my friends did. Three of the boys from The London Bikers went along dressed as Santa and took a few gifts. They said about 50 or so Bikers turned up and Jack and his family were chuffed to bits..... but they found it very very hard. Jack's dad said that the Bikers were welcome anytime if they were passing by the house.

It’s with great sadness that I need to tell you young Jack passed away on Sat 5th of January 2008. Jack's family want to send there thanks to all those that helped bring Jack's wish come true, especially with regards to the short notice and the time of year, he was really happy to see all the bikes and hear them broom broom past his house.

Many Thanks everyone

RIP jack, it's so sad he never got to experience the joy of riding a motorcycle.

Condolences to his family.
