Really sorry to hear your news. Hope all heals as quick as possible.
My dad broke his pelvis about 20 years ago in a car accident. All I can remember he was in hospital for ages, and I got Horlics from the nurses :-p I'm sure everything will be fine.

Sorry to hear, hope he mends quickly (and on the upside I know a couple of people who've had a broken pelvis and made a quick and good recovery)

It depends on how badly broken the pelvis is. I was relatively 'lucky' in I did not need any mechanics to keep my pelvis together. They just took out all the smashed pieces and left me with a hole instead. PMA is 50% of getting better as far as I am concerned. The doc's told me to expect a lengthy stay, that was just after being moved from ICU on the fifth day. So if 5 days is classed as a lengthy stay then I guess they were right All the best for his recovery, help him to keep focused on the end game and not the pain and healing he has to go through. |
