Nice one Ed. Why the change - noting to do with your cornering post the other week is it?

Make sure you get some nice R&G's to protect the fancy decals for when we get you on track (not that you'll need them but better safe than sorry )

Oh yeah, cornering. I wanted honest opinions, and maybe some were slightly too honest. Nope, nowt to do with that, that's me not the bike. Well I've booked CSS1 at Rockingham to sort that out. Plus the very kind forum member (who got an unfair slapping for their trouble from someone who should know better) has repeated the offer they made, and I will gladly and gratefully accept it. I have seen this person ride, and it was fantastic.

Change is more to do with being a lot lighter - the 650 is a heavy beast. Newie's also a lot more grunt lower down. Plus, that noise - even on a stock can - it's orgasmic. It won't stay stock for long though. I also couldn't ignore the economics - I'm getting practically what I paid for it 2 years ago, and let's be brutally honest, a D650 is not top of most peoples' list, so where else would I get £4,500 for it???

Unless they've bored out his old bike by 25cc & put it on a diet etc. I doubt it very much.
