Oh, thanks ian, if i am still the target of snide comments, then i am a happy girl.

up: shiny bikes are great, broken shiny bikes that you have not yet owned for a week suck!

yesterday afternoon, in gale force rain, flashflooding and thunderstorm, the bike thinks its overheating, the end result, warning lights all over the place, and bike taken home on the back of a tow truck.

after putting a 1.5 litres of water (do the conversions yourselves) into the radiator, it made it to the triumph dealer where i pouted and fluttered my eyelashes and had it looked at and fixed today. cracked hose and faulty cap. BAH this english workmanship! i am not happy!

anyway, they need to bleed the system again and test it again before i get it back, so it still won't be back till monday now. so for my first full weekend back, with nothing to do, and no bike.

and chris, i already have the r1, so you can remain jealous. that was bought before the 675 was.

teryaki monkey, the tyres are pirellis. i can't tell you exactly what as i don't have the bike right now!

oh and that's nothing to do with english workmanship - we just bash all the exports to Australia with a hammer before crating them up

Sarah was it the little plastic white elbow that cracked and broke under the tank? If so it was a common-ish problem on some of the earlier bikes. Can't remember if yours is new. I hate to do it cos it's full of arrogant people but have a look on triumoh675.net for common problems. There are a few talking about cam chain noise too between about 7 and 8 thousand revs. If it was the elbow get them to replace the hose with a longer one as apperently you don't even need the elbow there.

Sad day. It'll be back soon though!
