Same with Whitebait, I just cant get my head (or gag-reflex) round that.

The sardines I buy are already gutted and there`s no head/brain/guts/lips/tits else I wouldn`t be able to eat them either!

Mussels are lovely.... The big fresh ones are best, either cold with pepper or cooked in some garlic, onion, white wine and cream

Sardines on toast ALWAYS good - but I draw the line at putting tomato sauce with them ewwww. Oily fish in oil is the best . The bones are nice and crunchable too, when they've been in oil..

Anyone remember sugar sandwiches? (although I wouldnt recommend them for adult metabolisms *sic*).

Any seafood is aok with me (whitebait is good with only a touch of flour) - except tuna. You couldnt get me to eat that stuff if you paid me. Squid, Octopus and king prawns are my favourite....and the cat loves seafood breath. Not sure about hubby though.

I'm a fan of eggy bread (french toast??) which is then rubbed in a plate of sugar before having golden syrup spread on top. A nice sugar rush to start the day with.
