11 ribs and Pelvis. Same accident.

Collarbone left. Plated and pinned

Collarbone Right.

Crushed disk. Replaced and fused.

That is all. Unless you want to start talking about other internal body parts damaged as a a result from some of those broken bones.

Well, biking related there's only be the fracturing of the bones in my left foot.

Took over 24 hours to get to a hospital in Kazakhstan that could help me.

They said that there was only the oen fracture. Back in the UK I got the NHS to check it out & they pointed out the scond fracture, I have to go back on Friday & they'll assess whether they need to break the bones to get them to heal correctly - the Kazaks put the cast on incorrectly.

No. All 'old' people suffer from this at some stage.

Dirk, I thought you were back early when I read about your date yesterday! How are the injuries? What was the Dakar like as a bike? I am thinking of getting myself a 650GS for the short term for when I get back on early next year.

Mike, I can sympathise with you there, you should see the tank damage I managed to push it forwards about half an inch and put a dent in it which would make any man proud! I have found that I can barely last a whole night without needing the loo - is that uncommon?

dunno, I was camping at the time I did mine and seem to remember getting up frequently for a wee. It was over 10 years ago now, so details hazy. The divers who came to find my body (ha they were wrong) left me some plants to help with sleeping, but beer was my chosen poison. Maybe the beer was related to it.
