Rode it in Thrusday, took it to Rad in town, rings me up today, pads needed changing. TFFT.

So tonight will be trying to stick me bars on and new headlight Will take a piccy of the pads tonight FTR and hopefully have the bars done tonight Gonna have to drop the forks through by roughly 10-15mm I think though So may look into different risers instead of that, what will 10-15mm do to the thing?

Cheers for input people...
Dropping the bars will make it turn in slower. EDIT: That was a bad explanation in anyone's book. I meant to say dropping the forks not the bars. As in moving them further down the yokes. You can counter this by counter steering harder. Basically means you have to ride it a bit harder to make it go round the corner like it did before. You could consider raising the rear which in essence will sharpen the steering again. Although it really isn't all quite as simple as that as you are changing the geometry of the bike so is likely to cause other 'side effects'. With the limited suspension that your bike has, I wouldn't have thought it would make a huge amount of difference though.

Why do you have to drop the forks through the yokes anyway

Tops of the forks up to the adjustment screws are roughly 45mm above the yokes(roughly) and the bar risers/clamps are a lot shorter than that. Will take a pic to show that too. Guessing it will be a two man job to do.

Thanks Si, thought it would affect steering. Thinking it may be a good thing to learn a bit more on counter steering, be able to feel that I'm doing it etc.
