Is it Worth It ?

Had a similar incident on the A40 a few months back, I definitely learnt my lesson, it just aint worth it m8, glad you managed to get home in 1 piece. And with regards to wing mirrors, a friend of mine once told me if you dont want to get a letter in the post for dangerous driving/criminal behaviour is to just pull up next to the passenger side and just simply turn the mirror round - no damage to the mirror but if he DOES use his mirrors he'll now have to get out of his car (unless they're a flash **** and its all electric etc) to adjust the mirror back. legal satisfaction.

As already mentioned Mike and seconded by the sensible answers on this thread. Your too vulnerable on your bike. It could be the weediest bloke around behind the wheel, but he is just as much able to kill you with his car as a 6 foot 6 brick sh'thouse of a bloke.

Leave it well alone.
