The docs gave me Stematil for the nausea, but there's nothing that they can do for the dizzyness. The GP said that if I should get a bad headache to go with it, then I should 999 to hospital. Next day, I woke up with the headache, so off to hospital. They found that my blood pressure was up to 200/140, so they gave me some tablets for that as well. The hospital's been thorough, I've had CT & MRI scans, blood tests (which seems to show that my liver is screwed up), heart & kidney ultrasound scans. Anyway, the BP's coming down, I'm not feeling sick any more, and I'm eating OK, and I'm not as dizzy as I was, but it's still there, and there's no way I'm going to ride for at least the next couple of weeks. I can look at a computer screen for a useful length of time now, but I can't go out on my own yet, since I can't walk straight yet. It's like being pernantly ****ed ![]() |

That sounds a step up from what I've got, though I am getting fed up of having to be looked after and not being able to do much for myself!
