Red poppies

I can't believe the question was even asked about how early to wear a poppy?!

I've been wearing mine for a couple of weeks now, and with working in a school I consider it to be my advert to the teenagers.

My grandfather was killed in WWII when my dad was only six, it tore the family apart, and though I wasn't aware of it when I was younger, looking back I realise that my Gran never got over his death, she was single from the day he died until she died in her 70's.

I go to my home towns service as Grandads name is on the plaque there, and I don't care how early I wear my poppy. I'd wear it in September if they were for sale then.
