Mac: I voted as a 'no'. Along with Xmas itself (which involves work do's) I have every family birthday (me, son, wife, sister, mum & dad) between the last week of October and the 20th December (ME!!). Adding another night out is never on (as previous years non attendance for the same reason).

No idea why I felt compelled to tell you all that but didn't want it left anonymous. Well done on sorting it out for the others though. Have a few for me!! Any consumed after midnight I am taking as a toast for my birthday....

Xmas menu 2course£16:95 3course £19:95 but if you do not want the Xmas menu the normal pub menu is also available
As the Xmas menu is cooked fresh to order I am printing the rough menu below so that the pub knows what to expect. I would be obliged if you could tell me which items you desire and I will pass this information on to the chef at the Albert
STARTERS
[1]Prawn and smoked salmom
[2]French onion with stilton
[3]Liver and brandy pate
[4]Spicy chicken wraps

MAIN-COURSE
[5]Turkey,yorkshire,bacon wrapped sausage and all the trimmings
[6]Filet steak in red wine
[7]Poached salmon and prawns
[8]Baked mushroom and tomato fondue Parmesan and veg[Veggie]

SWEETS

[9]Christmas pud and brandy butter
[10]Spiced apple pie and custard
[11]Baileys cheesecake
[12] Cheese and biccies

FOLLOWED BY

A glass of mulled wine and mince pies

If you can give me the numbers you want from the menu it will allow us to dine together and not seated waiting ---so please please come back with the item numbers if you are having the Xmas menu
