Nowhere near the quality of tsubaki, DID, etc. Price isn't that cheap either.

Though, to be fair while the few I've seen haven't lasted long, and the tales heard been the same. I haven't heard of any others snapping at such low mileage.

Anyhow if you take a look in this 2nd picture

is it ok to file that bit of the damaged swing arm off? its just skimming the nuts but i thourght i would check first.

We also saw a possible cause of the original disaster, the rear sprocket fitted appeared to be fitted backwards.

Should be ok to smooth it back, if it needs any more than a light touch and minor material removal then stop and I will come have a gander.

damage don't look that bad on the second pic, looks like it'll sand out with some wet n dry. I've got some sort of carbon fibre looking patch on my black ones swinger where apparently some doofus didnt give enough clearance for the pipe properly, and it fouled it...hate to wonder what may be lurking under it
Glad you got your sprocket sorted, YC was telling me Friday, when he was putting my rear end back on.

hoping so Andy. Haven't been out to test it properly. Powdercoat on the subframe is sweet. Had to jump back home friday quick after we'd finished putting it back together.
Just gotta think about the fairing panel and an indicator when I can be ars$ed, then it'll be all back to normal.

hmm powder coating he rear sub? been thinking of that myself.

back safe and sound anyways, the swingarm hasnt self destructed so alls is well. I did have to make a u turn for my tax disc tho after the nut that was holding it on came loose. ho hum. Still i need a new one anyways

scottoiler seems to be good ive got it so its like 1 and a bit every min as per the instructions but theres a little splatter on the tyre. Is this anything to be concerned about?
