I love it when jokes get arsed up. I got told one the other day in the pub.

"Two parrots sitting on a fish...

one of them says....ah b*llocks"

What you lot been smoking?! Or is it the out of date beer?!

BTW Magnum, if one was to sleep with a 15 year old girl, a defence of 'well I met her in the club so thought she must be 18 as surely she got ID'd on the way in' would not help the case

I fully regret this, and you will only hear this once from me........DONT drink that beer.

I used to work for S and N in their biological lab, where the job was to ensure that all the beer leaving was for human consumption.

Basically, normal beer has loads and loads of bacteria and the likes running around in it. Some of it even is good for the human body, but one passed the sell by date, there is a possibility had other nasties that can do you some real harm have got in. I can not remember (it was over 16 years ago) all the latin names for the evil gits but they were LONG and therefore must be bad!!!!

Bottled beer is worse than cans as it is hard to make 100% air tight seals.

Think of it this way. NOTHING in life is as important as beer (some may argue this point but they are wrong), so why drink bad quality beer.....it just does not make sense.

+1!

My new favourite is ale by a brewing company called 'Purity'. I think it's only sold in the Midlands at the moment but it's bootiful. I popped in to the pub on the way home last night just for a quick sup of the stuff

Ah, and regarding bad beer I once had to do a forfeit at uni and drink a pint of the drip trays (in a dirty old pub where the drip trays were never washed). I felt ill for several days after. Not recommended.

the Best before date is all a bit of a con! It's not a Use by date! Bottled beer will keep for ages as long as it's air tight. Cans are normally OK (in my experience) for about a year before they start tasting a bit tinny. i've drank (and sold) stuff that old and never had any compliants!
