I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting goretex stuff or just staying cheap and getting stuff from Lidl..

The thermals are crap and not worth the money unless you plan to buy three or four pairs and layer them all.

They're not thermals as such, just compression base layers. They work well under leathers as long as it's not completely freezing outside but do work a lot better if you layer it with something like a mid layer, zip-up top.

Picked up a tank bag this morning. Seems to be sturdy enough.

Got a couple of radios to try aswell. If it turns out there pants on bike I'll find another use for them.

Went to pick up my stuff this morning.
£43 lighter and 1 tank bag, thermal top, 2 way radio, chain cleaner, 4 litres of iced tea and a tube of mini eggs!
