Pete

Can you tell me which road we took from Slaidburn to Devils Bridge?

Looking at my map, I can't figure out (or remember ) whether or not we carried on on the B6478 to A65 or did we take a minor road to High Bentham? Or neither?

Mel, from the centre of Slaidburn where the monument is, take "The Skaithe" which becomes Lythe Fell Rd and on into High Bentham. Then left on the B6480 to A683 where you turn right. Follw your nose all the way to the bridge.

Strange, I prefer going t'other to Devils after my carrot cake past Petes grandpa's bench to Clapham station

Always mention Clapham station as it confuses southeners
