Sorry Darren, but you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about! Different people learn in different ways. It often helps me to have a funny rhyme or a picture in my head, so when it comes to exams, I can see the picture or hear the rhyme to recall the content.

that said.. I would normally be the first to come up with summat disgusting- but I am being mature.

hope that helps marie and you get some useable suggestions now..

Yeah mate, but it's much easier to learn something rude, dirty and very funny, than something which would be deemed acceptable in modern society hehe. That's just my personal experiences (but then my dyslexia affects my short term memory, so it's just a tactic I found works for me.)

Fair enough for the mods to complain about using numbers and symbols to get around the swear filter.. just use an * for a few letters.
I try not to use an ! or a 1 for "i"s now. Visordown lets you swear IIRC

Glad it went well for ya' hun. When's your last exam? I'm in exam period too at the moment (for my A-levels though). Not fun

End of the month is the last one. I have one wednesday then a nice long gap of nine days before the next one thankfully. Good luck with yours, tis a horrid time of the year this. I'm happy though as my birdy module was the biggie and it's out the way now

I know what you mean about them being funny and remembering them better but tbh, them having swearwords in makes no odds to me. For the purpose of the forum though stars should be used, if children are about, reading over shoulders as they often do, it doesn't take much imagination for them to associate numbers as letters, they're not daft.

Anywho, the thread certainly fulfilled its purpose, for which I'm grateful for
