Mine has indicated between 110 and 115 a number of times, so either my speedo is wrong(er) than everyone elses, or somehow I can get a couple of mph more out of mine than what the majority seem to get.

I would offer to take a picture - but that would be dangerous!

i know 109 is definitely possible, my mates a police biker
so i have no reason to de-restrict mine atm, march isnt too far away to wait for that extra 20mph if your only pulling to 70 there could be a speed restriction which is normally only fitting on bikes/cars with an ecu. other than that i have no ideas why you could only get 70 out your bike tbh

Tbh I don't see the actual point of restricting bikes.. yet not cars.... I mean, seriously... I just hate the EU..

I live in sunny hartlepool, took the air box to reveal carbs and even jubilee clip, even though i presume you would be able to see the restrictor washer anyway. not to bothered anyway as the bike is fast enough for me at present but just could do with a little more grunt in higher gears when overtaking on motorways.

To see the restrictor washers you'd have to actually lift the carbs off their ducts and they sit on a small ledge inside the ducts. It does sound restricted. Did you remove the carbs fully from the ducts after loosening the jubilee clips?

not sure josh, i am a bit of a technical spaz when it comes down to mechanics. i took the air box off to reveal the cards, ( i think, basically the twin cyclinders are revealed as in the picts you sent me ) i then removed the jubilee clips on the them. inside you can see a gold thing that you can slide if you push it to reveal a little gold bar thingy running across ( thought this was the carbs). I thought the washer would just be on the top of that. should the washer be in both of these also. Sorry for my ramblings josh but like I said am pretty useless at mechanics of motorbikes. its like explaining a monkey the workings of concorde.

cheers
