My dad was 35 when he started knocking off my baby sitter, she being 17.

They married 15 years later, he died age 70 leaving a 52 year old widow.

Age don't matter when you love each other. but at the beginning and end it can have a serious effect.

One new neighbour when I lived with them thought it was nice that my wife and I let my dad stay with us. No she is my step mum not wife.


Or my lads father in law who after a bit of a play away found himself age 60 with an 18 year old girl friend with a growing lump

I had a fling with a 35 year old woman once when I was 17, does that make her wrong?

Glad someone got the reference, thought it may have been too obscure but i forgot of the great KeithD intellect.

I did a similar thing. Met a girl on holiday, thought she was older than me so i lied about being 18. I was 16 at the time. She then tells me she's 15 and me at 18 is too old for her to go for a drink alone with. I had to go back to hotel to get my passport to prove i was actually 16 and lied. Great way to start a night out eh?

I'm 43 and Ibby is 5 1/2 years younger than me.

I personally wouldn't have any issues in having a 16 year old girlfriend, for a short while at least. Their lack of maturity would do my head in, but to be honest I would probably only do it for the energetic s*x!

Atleast you honest! Problem is (if you were serious which you probably aren't) you'd be taking advantage of her immaturity. I'd understand her family/friends getting a bit touchy about it.

There's a easy formula for dating someone younger.

Halve your age then add 7 years.

so for a 18yr old that's 16 minimum...

It actually comes out with pretty reasonable answers but unfortunately doesn;t take into account variables like maturity etc.

I think your main problem is that its against the law to have any form of sexual relations with a minor, and no amount of reasoned debate would stop me from battering anyone who touched my daughters
