To be fair Keith, some pubs used to have signs that said 'No bikers'. Its not so common now. Some People tend to see bikers in a different light these days...not like the days of old, when they all had handlebar tashes, smellled of 3 year old patchouli, with cut off denims and a pi$$ pot helmet

I don't know, it does scream discrimination, but then in years gone by they used to to also say 'no workwear' on some pub doors.

I've worked in many pubs that have had signs like this, mainly local village pubs. I think its wrong, but it seems bikers or workwear could give the wrong impression and deter trade perhaps?

So basically male bikers are all huge, 300-pound guys with leather everything, tattoos everywhere else, a beard you could lose a badger in, a pickelhaub (spiked German helmet)... while female bikers are all hot young chicks with highlights and a lip or tongue piercing.

I guess I'd better start eating and growing a beard. And get some tattoos. I'm thinking a flaming skull with a snake with a rose in its mouth wrapped around it.
