Its one thing to have a preference to an SV or to a v-twin but you have to be realistic. There is no chance that an SV , especially in stock form will ever out perform a CBR6. I've raced both at pretty quick pace and there is simply no comparison.
The CBR can feel pretty sedate, it has a fairly misleading reputation in my opinion of being a relaxed squashy sedate IL4 sports bike, far far from the truth. Its a very fast capable machine. The SV is no slouch either in the right hands but I'm afraid will never have the legs or handling to do over a CBR. |
