I pre-ordered mine and it hasn't arrived, but this ALWAYS happens, so I was expecting it! I'll catch up next week when it arrives I guess.

Several people on Eurogamer have said they've already sold it on such was their disappointment. Look forward to hearing your views Dan.

Personally if it was anything less than the original in any aspect (yes, I know it's a different dev, that's no excuse) I'll be disappointed, as I spent hours of my life playing the original. Singleplayer was quickly forgotten (it was pants anyway) in favour of the amazing multiplayer, but without a mission editor in the console versions I think this is doomed to run out of content very quickly. And frankly that's a waste of all the tanks and helicopters and guns they've spent months creating.

they may release a 'mission editor update' for PS3 and XBOX to download

thats the good thing about games now days, it gets updates and added content, which is nice after spending £££ on a game.

I see it the other way - especially when they announce the DLC before the game's even out. They deliberately hold back content so they can charge you extra for it. And DLC causes huge hassles because suppose you've got four friends: three of them, like you, have the DLC. The fourth doesn't but really wants to play. So you just play whatever the default stuff is and the DLC stuff goes untouched. Even with free DLC, you'll find loads of people who don't have it. It's BAD.

A mission editor is a HUGE thing to add, and I can with 99% certainty say they will not add one. Stuff like Halo's Forge mode is really unique in letting you create missions and stuff on a console.
