Nope, it was the during vietnam it was used ( from memory I'm sure someone on here will correct me if I'm wrong) as it seals wounds and holds the skin together too

But equally, in Nam, they used to stop wounded soldiers from swallowing their tongues by safety pinning them to their cheeks!

just cos they did it in times of war dont mean it was designed for that I dont think the safety pin inventor said "this will stop soldiers swallowing their own tongues in years to come"

Come to think of it i was told that by the Ethicon suture rep some years ago, they actually still manufacture a sterile wound glue, i think it's called Dermabond if memory serves.

See thats what i was after, if it was what it was designed for in the first place. I bet Dermabond costs twice as much tho, lol.

I do occasionally put some on when it's that dry that I look like my skin is falling off. Apart from that my boyish complexion takes care of itself

used it on my tattoo after having it done and that's it, rely on manly methods to look beautiful.
