Nope its been there for a very long time. Since we swapped over to the look forum a while ago.

I dont hardly use it I would rather speak to the person concerned via PM and try and sort it out that way.

Nobodies ever asked about it before which is why it hasnt come up. The fact that it hasnt come up before or that somebody like Ed who has been here a while didnt know about it shows how often it is used and thats to the credit of everybody that uses this place.

I guess we could make it public but its out there now. I wouldnt want people not to post for fear of being whacked with an infraction though. As I said I dont need to use it to ban somebody, as I have that as option to me anyway. I guess what it does provide is a short term quick fix for us if myself, John or TSM isnt about and somebody is being a complete tool... I.e. if two seperate mods give infractions that generate enoug point for a ban tat might quickly resolve a situation ( i.e. blatant trolling ) rather than letting it fester and build up. It can always be undone later on...

I think you can only see your own, and that they should show in your user profile / user control panel somewere...

Time, place and how its done. Personally i find a well worded and eloquently written reply is far more cutting that a simple bunch of swears in a row.

But anyway we all love each other here so we never need to do this do we.
