Well done for keeping your cool Ed. If it had been my wife in that situation I would probably have done the same (bar getting the milk).

It happens more often than people realise (the tyre thing, not your "hair" getting wet).

I flashed and hooted enough at a Rav4 to make the driver stop once. Female driver flies out and starts screaming at me. I asked her if she'd noticed the alarming fishtailing? "No, I was on the phone" she said... I pointed to her totally flat offside rear tyre and suggested she change it before she joined the next road (the M4!!) and left. If she'd not been so rude, and if she'd not been on the phone I might have helped her.

Ed, brilliant and you'd do it again if asked.

As for women's capabilities; there's stuff swmbo can do i can't do, and vice versa. In the end its checks and balances.

But its a dangerous thing trying to teach them 'our' stuff - then we can get made redundant!!

Guys, you won't believe this.

Guess what I've just spent the last 45 mins doing

I'm afraid it's true. She kerbed the Merc, front nearside tyre is shot, huge tear in the sidewall. This was in the town centre, so she drove it the mile to my office so I could change it in the car park.
