Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Please do forgive me, but from what I've seen of the thread (I was working last night & today my Internet connection is so slow I'm not going to go back & double check)... but I didn't see any mention of it not being posted on the site previous to comments about the U-rating.

Interesting attitude that some have on the forum still. When a moderator talks of the U-rating, it's accepted. When a regular user does the same, it's classed as "sh*t-stirring" - when that person acknowledges themselves that they didn't see the comment.

Oh how I love irony.

Im sure we have photographers and printers who can do this cheaply and Im sure a lot of people will be happy to help out.

Baph, that's what let me know that it would be printed as Jen said on another thread ages back that she would not post any pics of that type on this forum anymore.

I don't see any irony in that unless you're looking for it, no-one needed to see your post as my response made it clear that you had a question about the U rating. I answered that question, Jen backed it up and she was not accusing anyone of anything.....she was just saying "lets not turn this into...". Fair comment as it's someone elses thread and justified as there was a lot of "s**t stirring" going on in her thread a while back. Nothing wrong with not wanting a repeat of that!

Cheers luver, really helped make my day

Lucky girl, I've just not had the confidence since a colleague was very rude to me last time I did it.

In regards to a calendar, I'd be up for doing a full bike kitted up one in saucy poses. Taking a steamy bath with just the right amount of alpine stars branding on show between the bubbles .....

Rai....sorry for my derail...I have just spanked myself...lol.

I remember the feeling I had the first time I got to wear a really good, well tailored suit on a business trip. I put gorgeous undies on and felt a million dollars.

I'm really pleased you felt so good and enjoyed it so much. I bet your colleagues were taken aback a bit!

A calendar takes considerable planning, and I would imagine that more than 12 pictures would be offered. Therefore it's not unreasonable to assume that a .org calendar would have example pictures posted on the site in order for decisions to be made, then the final product available by purchase only.

It was those example shots I was thinking of when I spoke about the U-rating.

I disagree with your first comment there, there was an accusation made, just as there has been an accusation in another thread this morning. I must of missed any stirring on other threads.

Now, in response to VT's request to not derail this thread further (which is ironic in itself), I'm happy to continue discussion via PM should you wish to say anything further.
