ghey leather chaps from the stall over the way!

No, got matching ones, can't remember which kit. Not the 900 quid jacket though. That was just rediculous money.

I went on Wednesday, enjoyed it as usual, its the only event I tend to get to, seems to be the biggest by floor space and has the most bikes of any others I've seen.
I enjoy hopping around and trying the bikes a bit, I'm usually after something (this time some gloves) and its an entertaining day out in winter. suits me but I guess not for everybody.

I preferred having the stalls there as I got to try gloves from pretty much every manufacturer, instead of at hein gericke they have their selection of stock and another shop has another selection, its not so easy to compare directly then.

J&S were notably missing from the sellers, not just manufacturers absent. was still filled though, not as if there was a big gap where honda should be, the others took advantage and had their whole fleet on display etc.

If you have yet to go and are looking forward to it, ignore the negative comments, make up your own mind if you didn't enjoy it and why.

i went yersterday and i had a wicked day, maybe it was because i havent been before but i thought it was good.

Sat on a few bikes, took my missus to see the wall of death which she loved, had a go on the mini motos (lol stacked it a few times and completly mashed my trainers), bought some cheap gear, bought all the nick sanders parallel world dvds and parallel coast and the parallel world book for £30, bargain, plus i seem him so i got him to sign the book and got a load of touring brochures to have a look at. Seen James Toseland wandering through the crowd as well. Food wasnt cheap but its like that at all the shows. No complaints at all. Just a long drive.

My 2.5 year old loved sitting on all the bikes, much to the staffs chagrin, had to keep following him with a rag. I was hoping to see lots of unusual bits to buy but it was the same old stuff you can get anywhere, just not as cheap as ebay or online. If the internet didn't exist it would probably be mindblowing, but it does and is cheaper/more convenient. Who wants to buy a bike stand on a day out and hump it round with them? (tho plenty did!).

I went yesterday and had a really good time. My shopping list was Arlen Ness leathers, a couple of replacement visors and a pinlock kit for my old Shoie Raid. Didn't quite go to plan though. Couldn't find the visors I wanted at a good price so... bought a black / blue Shoie XR1000 Caster complete with a pinlock for the visor AND a spare dark visor all for £160. Wasn't going to buy the leathers after that but came across the exact set I wanted priced at £400. I was nearly closing time so after a bit of ermm-ing we agreed on £360 for a set of Arlen Ness 5080 / 5081 two piece. I was chuffed with that.

Was there from 10 am till 5:45 pm. cool.
