when i did it all illegally it was with mates on his bikes (his family was very well off) more thrill in a chase as well.
I did a session on the m54j4 course and there was some police motocross bikers there to catch people like me in my younger days, and i said "try to keep up with me" one was able to get infront of me the rest got bogged down in the wet stuff. they dont understand the term go virgin, i do as much as possible

Sounds to me like you think you've a lot to prove. You haven't 'cos we don't give a ****. Take it somewhere somebody will be impressed, like college.

I'm in the garage working on the SV (OK surfing the forum more than working, but hey!), so I measured it for you.

My front wheel and tyre is a tad over 27 inches with the bike upright, and the bottom of my seat pad is 30 inches. I guess then if there is a snorkel under the seat, the air intake is at about 32 inches.

So this guy has his front wheel in about 22-24 inches, or about two feet, of still water (and yes he's a cretin for not just hauling the bike out and trying to restart it on dry land!)

What you need to remember is that due to the wash and the waterline when moving you can add 3-4 inches to the depth of any water you go through, whilst you could walk through it at below knee height, you could still kill your engine half way across.

How tall is yours? What's the deepest you've been through (depth when moving)?

i hate to put longer dog bones on my dr400 and drop a bit on the forks, so the ground clearance bad.
them videos of the pegaso 125 must be fake, the wiring would of shorted out in all that water, it is Italian remember
